I am Kisha Scott, a candidate for the City Council of Mableton. With over 20 years of experience in finance, I bring a passion for serving the community, not a career in politics. My husband John Jernigan supports my candidacy.

As a City Council Member, I aim to drive economic growth, enhance connectivity, and foster community engagement through strengthened partnerships. I believe in the untapped potential of District 2 and strive to make it a better place.

My track record of leadership and community service includes leading a Volunteer Network at a fortune 500 company. I worked with employees to build homes for Habitat for Humanity and host holiday parties for seniors. I also connected with youth through the Junior Achievement program.

In 2016, during the Baton Rouge floods, I sprang into action and organized a volunteer effort to send aid to flood victims. Over 200 employees volunteered over 60 hours and my husband and I personally drove the aid to Baton Rouge and helped with delivery.

I am a native of Louisiana, a fan of LSU Tiger football, and love food, family, and Saints football. My husband, John, is an Auburn University graduate.
